Family Dedication Sunday is June 10, 2018, and we invite you and your family to participate.

At Troy Christian Church we recognize the importance of families and the value of children.  Families of all ages and stages that have not had an opportunity to dedicate their child are invited to participate in Family Dedication.  This memorable service recognizes each child as a gift from God and offers parents an opportunity to commit to rearing Christ-centered children.  Additionally, this special service makes public the church’s commitment to each family, and the family’s commitment to the church.

Family Dedication is not just for babies. In year's past Family Dedication at TCC had an emphasis on Families that had welcomed a new baby in the previous year.  TCC is encouraging any family, no matter the stage or age to step up and make a commitment to raising a God-centered family.

Family Dedication at TCC does not involve baptism.  We believe baptism is meant to take place at a time when an individual makes a personal decision to follow Christ and is old enough to repent of sin and confess Jesus publicly.  On Dedication Day, we will give your family a special card.  We encourage you to put this card in your child’s baby book or hope chest and save it until the day your child accepts Jesus as their Lord and Savior and is baptized.
