Discipleship Wheel at TCC
At TCC, we view the discipleship process through the lens of a wheel. While we would love for this progress to be linear, a circle best represents the fact that at times, individuals will take steps backwards in their spiritual journey to relearn elements from previous stages. Yet, the goal is to press on towards maturity, even if we must relearn old ideas. Success in the discipleship process happens when Christians become active participants with the mission of Jesus of making disciples who make disciples.
Below are the different sections of the wheel that everyone travels during their spiritual journey.
Commit
In the first stage of everyone’s spiritual journey is the need to commit. At TCC, we desire everyone to commit to God and to His church.

Serve
In the third stage, a person begins to move away from a me-centric outlook on life towards an others-center outlook. At TCC, we see this take place as individuals begin to serve rather than be served.

Multiply
In the fourth spiritual stage, individuals join the mission of Jesus of making disciples who make disciples. At TCC, we believe that maturity in Christ results in sharing the Gospel with others.
